Destiny Inc. has opened an Op Shop and Office at Gateway Church Albert Park in October 2018 where we provide pre-loved clothes, shoes, toys, bags, bric-a-brac etc. There is also bread available on a Friday, plus budget help, tea and coffee and a chat. Previous to this we leased an old Bank SA branch at Prospect for a year rent free, thank you to Westpac Banking Group.
Our vision is for our first Destiny Centre to be in Adelaide in the northern suburbs. It is hoped it will be chiefly a centre for protection, counselling and practical help for those ladies and children in a domestic violence situation.
Roy & Sue have previously ran successful Divorce Care Courses in Adelaide which have helped many people through this difficult period in their life.
Roy, Sue and Mark have also facilitated courses in helping people deal with life controlling problems, how to identify the cause and how to bring hope and freedom.
They were also were involved in establishing and running a Teen Challenge drop in centre in the Adelaide CBD feeding, counselling and sheltering the homeless
The planned Destiny Centre’s would be a place where Divorce care, drug and alcoholic counselling, youth counselling and help would be available. It would also be a building with accommodation facilities, office, counselling rooms etc.
We are very excited to be able to help people in need within Australia to bring them a better life. We have Doctors and Trained Counsellors who have already offered to help.
You are able to assist these projects also, by donating for:
